Ubiquiti UniFi WiFi 7 Enterprise Tri-Band AP (E7)
The UniFi E7 is Ubiquiti’s ceiling-mount WiFi 7 access point for offices, campuses and venues that have outgrown a single-band or WiFi 6 overlay. It is a tri-band radio with 10 spatial streams, a 10 GbE uplink and a 1 GbE secondary port, sold here with a South African ZAR price and local support from our Highveld, Centurion team.

Who the E7 is for in South Africa
Specify the E7 when a floor already has a 10 GbE or multi-gig switching plan and the client count, not the floor area, is the constraint. Typical fits are a Sandton or Midrand open office, a Pretoria civic floor, a Johannesburg training room, or a warehouse mezzanine where phones, laptops, scanners and IoT share one SSID.
If you only need a small branch or a boardroom, a UniFi U7 Pro or U7 Lite is usually the cleaner buy — the E7 is the density and 6 GHz radio, not the entry AP.
WiFi 7, 6 GHz and a 10 GbE uplink
Official Ubiquiti specs list 4×4 on 6 GHz (up to 11.4 Gbps at 320 MHz), 4×4 on 5 GHz (up to 8.6 Gbps at 240 MHz) and 2×2 on 2.4 GHz. That only lands if the switch port and cabling can take a 10 GbE uplink and the controller is UniFi Network 9.2.87 or later.
We design the SSID, VLAN and PoE++ budget with the rest of the UniFi fabric — gateway, switch and Protect cameras — so the AP is not an island hanging off a 1 GbE leftover port.
Supply, mount and support from Centurion
NovaCloud Africa supplies the E7 with a ZAR invoice, mounts it on ceiling, wall or the included Pro mount, and can keep the site on a managed UniFi estate. On-site work covers Centurion, Pretoria, Midrand, Sandton and Johannesburg; remote controller work covers the rest of South Africa.
If you already have an internal IT person, we sit beside them. If you do not, we own the WLAN and report on it with the rest of your managed IT.

Is the UniFi E7 available in South Africa with a ZAR price?
Yes. NovaCloud Africa lists the E7 in ZAR, including VAT. Stock moves with the local distributor — the shop card and this page show the current in-stock flag. If it is out of stock we can still quote a lead time and a substitute UniFi WiFi 7 AP.
Does the E7 need a 10 GbE switch and PoE++?
The primary uplink is 10 GbE and the radio draws PoE++ (up to 43 W). A 1 GbE spare port is on the unit, but you will leave most of the WiFi 7 capacity unused if you only feed it 1 GbE. We size the switch and injector with the AP so the first visit is not a return trip for power.
Can NovaCloud install the E7 in Johannesburg or Pretoria?
Yes. Engineers work on-site from the Highveld, Centurion hub across Johannesburg, Sandton, Midrand and Pretoria, and we configure UniFi Network remotely for other South African sites.
What controller version does the E7 need?
Ubiquiti requires UniFi Network 9.2.87 or later, plus a current iOS or Android UniFi app if you manage from a phone. We can upgrade an existing self-hosted or UniFi OS console as part of the install.
When should I buy a U7 Pro instead of the E7?
Choose a U7 Pro or U7 Lite for a single floor, a small branch or a cost-sensitive overlay. Choose the E7 when you need the extra 6 GHz streams, the 10 GbE uplink and a high client count in one cell.
